March is Credit Education Month, and Credit Karma has created a website to provide a variety of informative tools to help promote credit education.

The company explains their commitment to credit education and their role in supporting Credit Education Month on their website:

In a national survey commissioned by Credit Karma, 66% of Americans categorized their credit as “excellent” or “good.”* In reality, less than 42%** of Americans have excellent or good credit scores.

Credit awareness and education are vital to making the most of your finances. Yet, only 48% of those surveyed stated that they are “completely comfortable” managing their own credit.

That’s why Credit Karma’s championing Credit Education Month. Having strong credit could benefit you in many ways, like lower interest rates, so our goal is to help you find ways to get there.
